Important: All products sold by Elva Research Limited are strictly for in vitro research and laboratory use only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, injection, or any therapeutic application. By purchasing from Elva Research, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "the Customer") and Elva Research Limited, a company registered in Seychelles at 306 Victoria House, Mahé ("Elva Research", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or purchase our products. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Research Use Only

All peptide vials and related products sold by Elva Research are supplied exclusively for bona fide in vitro scientific research. You expressly agree that:

Any misuse of products supplied by Elva Research — including but not limited to human consumption or administration — is strictly prohibited. Elva Research accepts no liability whatsoever for any harm, injury, or loss arising from misuse. Any order suspected of being placed for non-research purposes will be cancelled and refunded.

4. Products

Elva Research supplies lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide research vials of varying compositions, purities, and concentrations. Product descriptions, purity certificates (CoAs), and specifications are provided for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy; however, minor batch variations in appearance or reconstitution characteristics may occur.

All products are manufactured under controlled conditions, and certificates of analysis (CoA) are available on request or attached to individual product listings. Images shown on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Elva Research reserves the right to modify product formulations, packaging, or availability without prior notice.

We do not make any claims regarding the safety, efficacy, or suitability of our products for any particular research application. Researchers should conduct their own due diligence and consult relevant scientific literature before use.

5. Ordering & Payment

By placing an order on the Elva Research website, you are making an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our sole discretion, including due to product availability, suspected misuse, or payment issues.

Order confirmation is sent by email upon receipt. A binding contract is formed only upon dispatch of the goods, at which point a dispatch confirmation will be sent. All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time; any such change will not affect orders already placed.

Payment is processed securely via our third-party payment provider. We accept major debit and credit cards. Payment is taken at the time of order. In the event of a declined payment, the order will be cancelled automatically. We do not store card details on our servers.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Elva Research ships to addresses within the United Kingdom and selected international destinations. Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout and are indicative only — we are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.

Peptide vials are shipped using cold-chain or ambient packaging as appropriate for the product. The customer is responsible for ensuring that imported research compounds comply with all applicable regulations in their country of destination. Elva Research accepts no liability for orders seized or delayed by customs authorities.

Risk of loss and title for products passes to the customer upon dispatch. If your order is lost in transit, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date at help@elvalabs.co and we will investigate with the carrier.

7. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of our products — which are biological research materials with specific storage and handling requirements — we are generally unable to accept returns once goods have been dispatched.

Exceptions apply in the following circumstances:

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Elva Research does not offer refunds for orders placed in error, change of mind, or where the customer has failed to comply with proper storage and handling instructions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Elva Research website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product imagery, certificates of analysis, and brand assets — is the exclusive property of Elva Research Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property legislation.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, transmit, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written consent from Elva Research. Any unauthorised use may constitute an infringement of our intellectual property rights and will be pursued accordingly.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Seychelles. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seychelles in respect of any such disputes.

If you are a consumer purchasing from outside Seychelles, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence. These Terms do not affect any such statutory rights.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Elva Research processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. By placing an order, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except as required to process and fulfil your order.

12. Changes to These Terms

Elva Research reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via email where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of the website or placement of orders following such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Elva Research Limited is a research supply company. Products are not medicines, drugs, or supplements. They are not approved by the MHRA, FDA, or any regulatory authority for human or veterinary use. All regulatory and safety obligations for use of research materials lie with the purchasing institution or individual.
